Welcome to The Suite, a once legendary recording studio in Primrose Hill, where people write, record, rehearse, gig, mix and talk about music, but we’re a bit different to your average studio.
The space has played host to Elton, Stevie, Tina, Freddie, Sting, Tracy, Bryan, Phil and Bob amongst many others.
BROADCASTING 24/7
The whole place is rigged with cameras that broadcast live over the internet, 24/7.
As The Suite is a working studio so you will also see us play, talk, listen, debate, argue and create music.
You can log on any time and watch for free.
Everything is broadcast live over the web. If it happens between these walls, you’ll see and hear it.
All the audio you hear goes through our classic Mackie desk, so it’ll sound great on your computer, especially if you plug in some speakers.
LIVE GIGS
We also put live intimate gigs on here – like everything else they’re broadcast live. We also broadcast rehearsals, recordings, jam sessions, music lessons, singing lessons, open mic sessions and happenings.
We record gigs and sessions and you can watch films in our Library and buy the recordings in our Suite Shop.

Please note we listen to demos most Monday evenings in the control room as part of our live auditions
so your music may be broadcast LIVE.
If we like what we hear, we'll be in touch.
You can also audition for us and again, you'll be live on the internet.
We have an open mic session every Monday from 6 - instant message or email music@thesuite.sh for your slot.
We are happy to work with anyone as long as it is within our criteria – WE MUST LOVE THE MUSIC!
We love to work with great acts that are signed to record labels but we really love to discover and work with little known, unsigned and unrealized talent.
We try to keep an open door policy here and are always happy to hear from artists, managers, labels and producers about their ideas.

GENERAL
The website was primarily designed by me (Andrew) but I found a good guy to put it all together for me.
If you have a MAC use FIREFOX as your browser and download the free FLIP4MAC application. It's free, takes about five minutes and is well worth it.
There will be times when we turn the audio off, such as when an artist is recording vocals, but we’ll do our best to keep this to a minimum.
You may not copy any film or music to your PC, nor copy any ideas you may see or hear. Any copyright infringements will be promptly dealt with by our legal representative.
In the purpose built live room, we have a Mac Pro which runs Pro Tools and Logic Pro, a Mackie 32 Channel 8 Buss Analogue Desk and various plug ins and quality outboard. We also run our internet broadcasting production from this room.
